Rowing
Rowing
I started rowing in 8th grade in San Francisco and took to it right away. After playing soccer, volleyball, and basketball all throughout grade school, I found I was a much better fit for the tests of strength, intensity, and endurance that rowing demands. I like that rowing is a team sport and that because of the interdependent nature of it, our team’s success is completely dependent on how well we work together as a unit. Rowing has challenged me in every way - mentally, psychically, and technically. I like working hard to improve my technique, getting results, and seeing how far I can push myself.
My racing experience includes:
The San Diego Crew Classic (4th place)
Pacific Invite (5th place)
Head of the Lagoon (3rd place)
US Rowing Southwest Youth Rowing Championships.
I have experience in 8+s, 4+s, 4x, and 2x.
In the off-season, I have trained under Cassandra Cunningham at St. Joseph University Youth Rowing Camp. This summer, I’m training with a former Olympian and attending the Women's Elite Performance Camp at Stanford.
